Jairo is very happy with his new computer, monitor and textbook given by generous donors

Informal computer classes began at the
orphanage in June 2003


The children began learning Windows, Access, Powerpoint, Excel and Word on their
donated computers

Jaider, from the staff of the Hotel Puerta del Sol, volunteered to teach the girls and boys how to use their new tools to repair their beds

Some of the older boys are displaying their new tools and they are now able to make minor repairs around the orphanage

The girls wanted to learn how to use tools also and they were included in all repair classes
